PEI Federation of Agriculture Scholarship
This scholarship is available to:
PEI Federation members, their spouses or children who are enrolled in a
leadership program that helps expand their knowledge of the industry and
promote leadership OR in a post‐secondary or graduate program
Unsuccessful applicants may apply in subsequent years
No applicant will be eligible for a second award
The successful candidate will be asked to provide confirmation of enrollment
Applicants will be screened and successful applicants will be selected for an
Applications will be evaluated on the following:
A 250 word summary outlining:
o Farming Background
o Industry involvement
o Volunteer and Community Service
o Long term goals
Two letters of recommendation

Credit Counselling Service Scholarship
Open to residents of Atlantic Canada (regardless of age) who will be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary program in the up-coming academic year.

Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association Member Scholarships
• Applicants must be related to a member of the Prince Edward Island Fishermen’s Association.
• Applicants must have graduated from a Prince Edward Island high school in June of 2018 and be accepted as first-year students in an accredited post-secondary institution. (Please provide a copy of the acceptance letter from your institution) bursaryform_en_2017-1

ST. DUNSTAN’S SCHOLARSHIP
AWARD VALUE $5,000
Intended for incoming full-time undergraduate students at the University of Prince Edward Island who are practicing Roman Catholics. Up to four scholarships, valued at $5,000 per year, will be awarded to incoming students each year, and the grant is renewable for up to three years, for a total of four years. Renewing students must be registered full-time at UPEI.
REQUIREMENTS & APPLICATION PROCESS
Students must obtain an overall average of 85% in their last two years of high school
Applicant must demonstrate an active involvement in their church at either the parish or diocesan level.
Completed, signed and dated application form
Arrange for an official transcript of marks to be sent from your high school to the Board
Resume of extracurricular activities
Arrange for your two letters of reference to be sent under separate cover (or enclose them with your application in sealed envelopes, signed across the seal)
Enclose any additional sheets containing application information.
Successful applicants may hold other grants, scholarships and bursaries (NOT INCLUDING George Coles Bursary) totaling up to $5,000 per academic year.

Neads National Student Awards Program
The NEADS National Student Awards Program is offered to encourage full access to post-secondary education for persons with disabilities, who often have greater barriers to participation in higher education, as well as extra costs because of their disabilities. Students must currently be registered in and continuing at post-secondary institution and provide documented proof of registration as part of the application and on receipt of the award.
Deadline: April 15 (each year)
Value: 5 at $3000; 1 at $1000.
The Wessex Scholarship
$5,000 award to commemorate the visit by His Royal Highness The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex to the IWK Health Centre in November 2015. Eligible applicants will be graduating from an Atlantic Canadian high school and entering a post-secondary health care degree level program at an Atlantic Canadian institution*. This scholarship focuses on the impact of community service and as such, applicants should be active participants in their community. A minimum grade average of 80 per cent is required.
*Note: New this year, only students graduating high school are eligible and current university students are no longer eligible for this award.

Assumption Foundation Scholarships
Available to students who attained certain academic standards and who have financial needs. The applicant needs to be enrolled as a full-time student in a a post-secondary institution and be a Canadian citizen. The applicant must also show an average of 70%.

PEI Command Bursary
The Provincial Command of The Royal Canadian Legion has established a bursary program which will make available annually FIVE SEPARATE bursary awards in the amount of $500.00 EACH, to be awarded to selected children, grandchildren or great grandchildren of Veterans. These are established to support students who are acquiring a post secondary education. Education can be academic, vocational and technical forms of training.

The 2018 Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship
To a former or present IWK patients. Applicants may be entering any year of post-secondary studies to be eligible. The Robbie and Jean Shaw Scholarship Fund was created by a group of dedicated donors interested in paying tribute to the Shaw family for their long-term commitment to making the world a better place.
