Open House Tours

On Tuesday, February 13th, Mount Allison will be hosting a reception at the Confederation Centre of the Arts. This reception will take place from 7:00-9:00 PM, and will provide students and their parents with the opportunity to learn about the next steps in the application process. Topics covered will include financial aid and awards, housing, life in Sackville, and academic advising.

Experience Acadia Day

On Friday March 9, 2018 students and their families are invited to come to Acadia’s campus for Experience Acadia Day—the on-campus transition event. This is an opportunity for students to receive academic advising and register for courses. Tours will also take place, enabling students to see one of Canada’s most beautiful campuses. Holland College is hosting a Campus Tour on Saturday, November 5th from 10 am – 2 pm.  Potential students have the opportunity to speak with instructors, view program facilities, and meet other students.  Student can also apply on the spot, Holland College will wave the $40 application fee!  Please pre-register to attend so they know you are coming.  Click below.  You will also need to see Ms Jackson-Deveau or Ms MacGregor Harris in Student Services to pick up a transcript of your marks to date.  Holland College will be asking for this if you choose to apply.

UNB will be hosting two Future Student Nights on Oct 24th in Charlottetown and Oct 25th in Summerside. This is a great opportunity for students and parents to find out more about UNB.   Link below with further details.


St Mary’s University will be here Thursday, Oct 20th at 8:30 am.  Interested grade 12 students will have  chance to sit with representatives for 45 minutes and discuss post-secondary opportunities at St Mary’s.  See Student Services to sign up!




Saint Mary’s University will be here on Monday, May 2nd to help students select courses at 8:35 am.  Please be here on time.

The following institutions will be visiting Souris Regional to chat with students one one one, answer questions, and in some cases conduct “on the spot” admissions. Students are asked to sign up for these events in advance so that teachers are aware of missed class time. Sign up sheets are located at the Student Services Bulletin Board.

The School of Performing Arts – Holland College – will be having an open house Friday, November 6th.  Students in grade 11 and 12 are welcome to attend and can register for classes at ajmackay@hollandcollege,com.  This is a great way to take advantage of a “no school day”!

On November 26th, 2015, Nova Scotia Community College Nautical Institute will be holding an Open House – open to anyone interested in learning more about Careers at sea!
