The Workers Compensation Board is seeking high school students interested in promoting OHS.
Criteria: Grade 11 or 12, good at connecting with students, interested in work safety
Requirements: attend a 1 day orientation in Ch’town on Thursday, OCt 27th, organize 6 activities to raise safety awareness, demonstrate good decision making.

Grade 12 students may apply now at apply.loranscholar.ca. Students will need to submit a transcript, request a reference from a teacher or community member, and have their school sponsorship confirmed before the deadline.
October 19th is the deadline for school-sponsored applications, and each high school may sponsor up to three students. Additional students may submit direct pool applications (without sponsorship) by October 26th.
Interested Souris student must submit a copy of their application to Student Services by October 13th if she or he hopes to be sponsored.
