Scholarships for Catholic Students


The SDU Board of governor’s Award is available to graduating high school students in good academic standing who have demonstrated ability in citizenship, leadership and service to community, church and school. This award is a non- renewable $1,000 award to students entering a post secondary institution. A minimum of one award per PEI High School will be given. Application deadline is May 1 of the current academic year


The Saint Dunstan Scholarship is a $5,000 renewable scholarship available to graduating (PEI) high school students who will be attending UPEI. Applicants must have obtained a minimum grade average of 85 % over their final two years of high school. SDU will offer four Saint Dunstan Scholarships per year. Application deadline is April 15 of the current academic year.


The SDU Bursaries have a value of $600 and are available to PEI students who are attending a post secondary institution either on or off PEI. Bursaries are renewable for a maximum of three additional years. Application deadline is August 31of the current academic year. A maximum of two hundred bursaries will be awarded.

4H Scholarships and Travel Opportunities

There are two $1000.00 scholarships that members can apply for. There are currently three travel opportunities for 4-H members to apply for…
 All applications are due to the Provincial 4-H Office, or myself, by Friday, April 15th by 5:00pm. Members who apply for scholarships are required to write an essay, as explained in the attached document. Furthermore, there will be an interview for scholarship and travel applicants. 4-H members who choose to apply for the National 4-H Dairy Conference in Madison, Wisconsin, must complete a quiz.  See Student Services for more information.

“Students on Ice” are now accepting applications for the 2016 Students on Ice Arctic Expedition. Several FULL scholarships available for Canadian and International youth.
The expedition dates are July 21 to August 05, 2016. The trip begins in Ottawa, ON and will travel together to Kuujjuaq, QC and sail through the eastern Canadian Arctic and western Greenland.Some of the themes for the 2016 Arctic Expedition include: Climate Change, Connecting Youth to Nature, and Truth and Reconciliation.
