Memorial University will be here Thursday, November 26th at 9:30 am – 10:15 am to speak with any students interested in attending. Please sign up at Student Services and get permission for your A block teacher to attend.
Dalhousie University will be here Friday, November 27th @ 9:45 – 10:30 am to speak with interested students. Please sign up at Student Services and get permission for your A and B block teachers to attend.
Any students interested in volunteering at the Colville Manor for bursary hours must attend an orientation session Thursday, Nov 19th at 11:30 at the high school. Students should take a bagged lunch with them as this will take the entire lunch period. Please see Ms MacGregor Harris if you have questions.
Good news! St Mary’s University will be here Wednesday, November 18th @ 1:00. They have also agreed to do “on the spot” admissions and wave the registration fee! Students must have permission from their C block teachers to attend. Interested students must also sign up in Student Services and indicate that they need a transcript ready for admissions BEFORE Wednesday.
Colville Manor will be at Souris Regional School next week during lunch hour to complete a mandatory orientation for any students planning to volunteer at the manor this year. Students must attend if they wish to participate. This session will happen on Thursday, November 19th at 11:30 – 12:30 in rm 258. Students can bring lunch with them to this meeting. Please see Student Services for further details.
Attention Grade 12s! Saint Mary’s University will be hosting a very important information session on Wednesday, November 18th at the Confederation Centre of the Arts in Charlottetown starting at 7:00pm for any interested Grade 12 students and their parents. Light refreshments will be provided and they will be doing free admissions on the spot, so bring a transcript! See Student Services for transcripts. Students can RSVP to email@example.com
Students should have a completed application form (which they can print from our website), an up to date copy of their transcript, and meet an acceptable average.
St FX will waive the $40 application fee for those students who meet the academic guidelines, which are as follows:
90+% average in required courses for Human Kinetics
80+% average in required courses for all other programs
Nursing applications will not be accepted at this time. Nursing applicants must apply directly to the university before March 1st and their application fee will not be waived.
